We need volunteers to sign up to volunteer at our partner agencies. In addition, we need volunteers to help coordinate our Create a Change event, a one-day event that highlights volunteering.

The F2F Program pairs a participant, an adult with mild to moderate disabilities, with a volunteer Friend. Friends get together for a few hours once or twice per month at a mutually convenient time and place. Our Community Program pairs children with volunteer mentors in 1:1 match relationships. Matches meet twice per month and spend time doing activities they mutually enjoy. Volunteer parents (and grandparents) create, strengthen, and support the connections between and among students and adults in our community. Each classroom has a few representative volunteers who help the teachers coordinate classroom activities and foster a warm welcome to all family events as ambassadors of the School.

Your group can make and deliver cards during the holidays or any time to let them know you are thinking of them.

Singing, playing an instrument, manicure skills, for example, are all ways to bring joy to HCP residents. School choral groups or small music ensembles always welcome.

Assist our families during the holidays or to help new residents get settled in their home.

Assist HCP in promoting awareness of HCP. Be on call to help us stuff envelopes, get out a mailing, assist with newsletter production, or even work with us on video editing/production projects for web and social media content. We have many needs in this area!

Each year friends of Meeting Street organize and host events or programs that raise critical support for our annual fund. You’re limited only by your imagination! Meeting Street’s Development Team will provide you with the necessary support and guidance to make any event a fundraising success.
