Assist teachers with classroom activities. Read, sing, play an instrument, arts and crafts, play games, or share a talent with toddlers and preschoolers.
Our program locations are in need of help: Monday through Friday, from around 10:00 am to 1:30 pm helping serve, clean up, sanitize, package, general meal assistance, plus decorating the locations, working on holiday favors, helping with reservations, and more. Volunteers help keep Gather moving forward. We often need volunteers for the following: counting, sorting and stocking items for the pantry; Meals 4 Kids distributions and events; Meals 4 Seniors deliveries; assisting in on and off site food drives; outreach and fundraising event participation; holiday basket assembly and distribution.
Volunteers help in many areas including entering data, answering phone and the preparation of mailing; and shift coverage for occasional pantry hours.
