How you help | The Association’s projects are expanding and the opportunities for volunteers are increasing. James House is a National Historic site and thus is interested in recruiting volunteers from communities in Maine, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire. |

About us | The James House is a living museum of architectural and social history of early New England. At the James House we strive to preserve and restore the home of Benjamin James, a 1723 salt marsh hay farmhouse in Hampton, NH. In addition we reach out to the community offering education to citizens of all ages, schools and other organizations and provide entertaining and educational events several times a year. The James House is listed with the National Historic Register of Historic Places. |
