Speakers BureauLead educational presentations right in your community! Choose from a variety of social impact topics, such as Caregiving, Social Security, and Living Longer/Living Smarter! AARP has created a series of online toolkits with all the resources needed to give these 30-60 minute long, interactive workshops! Not a fan of public speaking? We have “behind the scenes” volunteer roles in areas such as scheduling, marketing, training, and technology!Driver SafetyBecome a local instructor for the 4-hour Smart Driver course offered by AARP. This refresher course reminds people of the rules of the road and provides tips for safe driving.AdvocacyAARP is a strong advocate for Massachusetts families on key issues, including improving health care access, quality, and affordability; long term services and supports; and economic security. Contact your state and federal elected officials about key legislation impacting Bay State residents as an AARP e-advocate. Coordinate AARP advocacy activities in your community or congressional district. Educate voters on where candidates running for state and federal office stand on issues important to people age 50 and older. |
