| Ways to help | College Access MentorMentor high school juniors and seniors through the college application process.Summer Program Volunteer/InternVolunteers may be assigned to one or more of the following roles: teaching assistant; general operations; translations; marketing and media. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old.Pao Arts Center VolunteerThe Art Center is located right in Chinatown and is seeking a motivated upper level undergraduate student to assist with the exhibitions and public programs. Provide assistance for Pao Arts Center events and classes including registration, translation, visitor engagement, photography, etc.After School Program VolunteerVolunteers may be assigned to one or more of the following roles: after school tutoring; general operations; translations; marketing and media. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old.Special Events and CommunicationsAssist in organizing special events, grant research, marketing, and public relations.Early Education VolunteerReading and doing activities with preschool age children; Organizing the library and curriculum materials; translating materials into Chinese. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old.Adult Program TutorWe are looking for committed, tech-savvy individuals to assist in Monday computer classes or independent, dedicated individuals to help tutor our adult ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) students. |
