Catie’s Closet
Ways to help | Distribution Center VolunteerThroughout the week, generous members of our community bring their new and gently used donations to our Dracut Distribution Center. Volunteers help sort through the many bags and boxes we receive, looking for any stains, rips, inappropriate messaging or style, and out-of-style clothing. Volunteers may also be asked to fold or hang items once processed.Closet ChampionsCloset Champions are responsible for maintaining a clean and organized environment in the Closet, assisting in replenishing the Closet and identifying items that need to be restocked, communicating with Catie’s Closet staff and school personnel as needed, and performing a mid-year and end of school year check of the Closet. |

How you help | Your gift of time directly serves our students in-need. We’re actively seeking volunteers to help sort, fold and organize clothing items in our Dracut Distribution Center headquarters - benefiting roughly 32,000 students in MA and NH. |

About us | Schools equipped with a Catie’s Closet give students living in poverty the ability to discreetly pick and choose the clothing and basic necessities they need, and are proud to wear. Lack of access to basic necessities is one of the top reasons for absenteeism. The "Closet" is restocked with donated clothing, climate and age-appropriate, on a regular basis. By meeting students’ needs, Catie’s Closet boosts self esteem and motivates students to attend school and focus on their education. |
