Catalyst Career Mentor

Career Mentors support teachers as they deliver a Catalyst project experience by visiting the class 4-6 times over the course of a 6-week project. Using a blended learning model, Catalyst features relevant, locally connected projects where students develop solutions to real world challenges, including Climate Science, Metabolism and Sound.

Apprenticeship Citizen Teacher

Citizen Teachers are career mentors who will co-teach an apprenticeship that meets once per week for 10 weeks. Students will be introduced to new career pathways while also learning 21st century skills based on curriculum co-created by Citizen Schools and existing partners. Apprenticeships culminate in a student showcase of work.

About us Citizen Schools is a national non-profit focused on enriching the education of middle school students. We mobilize a team to enable public middle schools in low-income communities to provide a longer learning day rich with opportunities.
