There are various 1:1 and small group (10-20) volunteer opportunities throughout the year. Activities are usually held during the program hours of 9:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday. Some examples include small group tutoring, conversations with ESOL students to practice English skills, mock interviews, leading or assisting with social development groups, and more.

How you help The 1:1 attention we are able to give with the help of volunteers is critical to transforming individuals - and neighborhoods - by moving gang-involved youth from the corner to college.
About us In the neighborhoods of Dorchester less than one quarter of the adult population has a college degree. College Bound Dorchester works to ensure that all students view success in college as not just a possibility in their lives but as a baseline expectation. Everyday College Bound Dorchester's educators work with diverse populations between 3 months to 27 years of age, including at-risk youth, newly arrived immigrants, and families struggling to provide educational support to their children. In each program, College Bound Dorchester provides educational services to the under-served and lays the foundation for future academic, economic and social success.
