Our mission | East End House community center uses a holistic approach to promote the well-being, academic achievement, and successful transition to adulthood of children and youth from under-resourced families in Cambridge and surrounding communities. |

Opportunities |
Volunteers set up/clean up the pantry space, help receive weekly produce donations, and assist clients as they choose their own groceries from our available fresh produce and shelf-stable foods. After pantry is over, volunteers also help set-up grocery bags for senior citizens or families in the EEH, depending on the day. People skills are a must for this opportunity! Our distribution is also an ideal time to employ or practice language skills – particularly Haitian Creole, Portuguese, and Spanish. Volunteers should be able to comfortably lift a minimum of 20 lbs, though we are happy to make reasonable accommodations.
