| How you help | Volunteering in the classroom is very interactive with the children – volunteers often read with the children, help with arts & crafts activities, supervise children at the playground, and participate in classroom activities. In addition, in our School-Age Program, volunteers will come in and help provide homework assistance as well as participate in activities with our school-age children. We also have opportunities for skilled-based volunteering. To increase our capacity to meet growing challenges, Ellis seeks a variety of skills and expertise that may not be currently available internally. We welcome those with professional expertise in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Web Design, Database Management and other fields. |

| About us | Ellis is committed to providing high quality early learning opportunities in addition to out of school time programs in a socio-economically, racially, and culturally diverse environment. In our Early Education Center, we have children ages 2 months to 5 years, and they are split up into infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms. In our School-Age program we have children ages 5 years to 13 years. |
