Our mission	To contribute to the health and well-being of the Seacoast community by providing a broad range of health and family services to all, regardless of ability to pay.

Opportunities	Events Volunteer Help make Families First events a success by providing support such as set-up, serving, selling calendars, being an ambassador explaining programs, providing informational material, and more. One-time Teens, 21+, 55+, Adults Individuals, Groups (2-10), Groups (10+), Corporate Teams Event support Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends Family Center Program Speaker Share your professional knowledge or specialty topic through a parenting class, parenting series, or parent recharge group. Sample topics include anger management, mental health, scrapbooking, etc. One-time, Occasional 21+, 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor Skilled Weekdays, Evenings Mailings Volunteer Meet new people and enjoy tasty sweets as you lend your time in assisting with a mailing project. Tasks include stuffing envelopes, labeling, sorting, and readying them for the post office. One-time, Occasional Teens, 21+, 55+, Adults Individuals, Groups (2-10) Indoor On-site Weekdays Volunteer Dentist Practice dentistry with Families First. Depending on needs, you may see patients onsite at the Dental Center or in the community on the Mobile Dental Van. Must be currently licensed to practice, background checks, and more. Weekly, Monthly 21+, 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor Skilled Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends Family Fun Night Help with an evening program that is geared towards families who are facing homelessness and/or other significant stresses. Assist the coordinator with food activity prep & clean-up. Volunteer groups can facilitate the activity portion of the night’s program for the children. If planned in advance, groups can create their own creative activities. Occasional, Weekly 21+, 55+, Adults Individuals, Groups (2-10), Groups (10+), Corporate Teams Indoor On-site Weekdays, Evenings Childcare Volunteer Care for and have fun with children while their parents/guardians are in parenting class, have a doctor’s appointment, or studying for English class or GED program. Weekly, Monthly Teens, 21+, 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor Formal Weekdays, Evenings Office Support Volunteer Work alongside staff to ensure day-to-day tasks run smoothly, allowing greater outreach and services to clients. Call patients to confirm appointments, scan documents, file, enter data, etc. One-time, Weekly, Monthly Teens, 21+, 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor Formal Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends Clinical Volunteer We engage volunteer providers, nurses, and other health care professionals to supplement the work of our staff. The number we can accept is limited by space and insurance constraints, but if you are interested we would like to hear from you. Weekly, Monthly 21+, 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor Skilled Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends Fundraising Volunteer Assist Families First in raising the funds needed to keep providing health, dental, and family care regardless of the ability to pay. Hold a fundraiser or item drive at your work, school, book club, etc. Lend your support in planning an event. Make connections within the community, and more. How you help	Volunteers are critical in our work taking care of the health and well-being of our Seacoast community. About 200 volunteers give their time each year and make a difference.
