| Opportunities |
Grant WritingThis is how we fund many of our programs and we sure could use another person to train so we can meet deadlines with proposals that are compelling. Summer Reading ProgramThis is a committee that does outreach in March through June for community contributions, and supports the library staff throughout the summer to ensure materials and related programming needs are met. Fun Run Around the TownThis is a big event each October and we can always use more help planning and implementing. Book and Cupcake SalesWe need folks to help set up on the prior two evenings for our three annual book sales (first Saturday in March, opening day of the Farmers’ Market in June, and first Saturday in December), or bake cupcakes for the day of the sale, or help sell books or cupcakes. We have a team of volunteers who help sort donated books, but we can always use more hands. |
