Ways to help

Grief Support Services Volunteer

Our Grief Support Services volunteers have been personally impacted by a loss to suicide and are at a place in their own healing which allows them to help others as they travel a similar path after a tragic loss. These volunteers facilitate peer support groups and participate in home visits.

How you helpWe have trained more than 5,250 volunteers in befriending skills; provided suicide prevention workshops to 135,000 individuals; and lent aid and support to 13,000 individuals who have lost a loved one to suicide. Our services would not be possible without our dedicated volunteers.
