About us | RSVP is a national program funded by the federal government/AmeriCorps (The Corporation for National and Community Service) and has been sponsored in part by The City of Pittsfield since 1971. Americorps Seniors RSVP is one of the largest volunteer efforts in the nation for people 55 and over, and has matched older adults who are willing to help with local organizations on the front lines of meeting community needs. RSVP of Pittsfield, currently has approximately 250 active volunteers placed in 50 non-profit organizations throughout the county fulfilling unmet community needs. |
