Our mission	To provide material and financial assistance to address emergency basic needs and inspire people to become financially self-sufficient.

Opportunities	Stocker Stock the shelves of the Food Pantry before we open for services. Needed for Monday mornings 9am – 12n OR Friday mornings 9am – 12n. Must be able to do some moderate lifting. Full training provided. Occasional, Weekly, Monthly 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor Formal Weekdays Shopper Select items from our shelves and distribute them to families in need. Friendly personality needed as well the ability to follow established policies & procedures. Flexible schedules available. Full training provided. Occasional, Weekly, Monthly 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor Formal Weekdays Donation Sorter Receive and sort donations, hang clothing, price merchandise, stock the shop racks, and light cleaning. Must be organized. No experience needed – Full training provided. Occasional, Weekly, Monthly 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor On-site Weekdays, Weekends Board Member Help guide the agency, assist with fundraisers, and vote on organizational matters. Must be able to commit to quarterly meetings on Tuesday evenings. Must live or work in Rochester, be a current or retired business professional, and be well-connected in the community. Previous Board experience desirable, but not required. Occasional, Monthly 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor Formal, Skilled Weekdays, Evenings Customer Service Provide assistance to shoppers, bag merchandise for customers at the front counter, screen free shoppers for eligibility, and maintain the shop racks & displays. Opportunity to learn to operate the cash register if desired (but not required). Outgoing, friendly personality needed. Full training provided. Occasional, Weekly, Monthly 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor Formal Weekdays, Weekends Case Worker If you are looking for opportunities to give back by helping others, the SHARE Fund needs you. Our Emergency Financial Assistance program helps neighbors in need with housing, utility, and medical challenges. We also “coach” through encouraging budgeting and saving. The Case Worker has direct contact with people seeking assistance through an in depth financial situation intake and review as well as developing an Action Plan. Retired professionals, particularly from nursing and banking, find this work extremely rewarding! We ask that you commit to one 3-hour shift per week, typically seeing 1-3 appointments. Weekly 55+, Adults Individuals Office work, Indoor On-site Weekdays Food Drive Organizer If you have talents for planning & organizing, consider putting together a Food Drive for Gerry’s. About us	The SHARE Fund began over 25 years ago as an outreach ministry program of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Rochester. In 2008, the SHARE Fund became an independent nonprofit agency, federally registered as a 501c3 public charity. With the strong roots provided by the church, the SHARE Fund continues to grow and has become an integral service provider for people in need living in our community. SHARE focuses on providing assistance with food, clothing, basic utilities and affordable housing in areas not typically serviced by other agencies or organizations.
