Our mission	Ensuring that none of our Brookline neighbors goes to bed hungry.

Opportunities	Table Volunteers Pass out food to our clients during pantry hours. Position is outside and interacts directly with clients. Occasional Adults Individuals Event support, Indoor None Weekdays Delivery Deliver groceries to our at home clients. Volunteers must have their own vehicle . Occasional Adults Individuals Outdoor None Weekdays Food transport Bring donations, produce, and recycling between the pantry locations. Volunteers must have their own vehicle. Occasional Adults Individuals Indoor, Outdoor None Weekdays Packing Pack food in bags for our clients. Occasional Adults Individuals Indoor None Weekdays Truck Unload Load and unload our truck with large food orders. Requires heavy lifting. Occasional Adults Individuals Outdoor None Weekdays

How you help	Are you looking for a way to get involved with the Brookline Food Pantry? We would love to have you join us as a volunteer!

About us	Since the pandemic began in March 2020, the Brookline Food Pantry has: Served 650-700 families weekly (four times more than pre-Covid). Spent $94,000 on food alone for April-June 2020 (compared to $31,000 in 2019). Set up a new service to deliver food to more than 130 elderly or homebound clients each week, in addition to the 650 coming in person.
