About us | We believe that healthy, local, and culturally appropriate food is a necessity and a right for all residents regardless of neighborhood, race/ethnicity, or socioeconomic status. Mill City Grows works towards creating a food just community where residents are engaged in creating a food secure community that promotes the ability to grow, consume, and distribute healthy, locally produced food on protected land. We create and manage community gardens, grow food on urban farms, partner with schools to educate children, train gardeners, and increase access to local, healthy food. |
