Volunteers facilitate the peer support groups for children and adults. Our model is an evidence-informed program that includes 35 hours of training. We could not deliver programs without the support of committed volunteers.

Our Program for Refugee Learners (PRL) is an online class for newly resettled refugees who speak English at a beginner level, and who also need additional literacy support as an introduction to the American alphabet. Volunteers co-teach an online class once per week for 12 weeks, using a proven curriculum.

Active volunteers participate more frequently on organizational tasks and duties as a member of a Committee or Board.

Floater volunteers participate only on specific tasks or events.

EDEN’s Program is unique in its focus on addressing the root cause of homelessness by empowering SUSTAINABLE change – thereby reducing the return to the shelter system.
