Give blood. The Red Cross is working hard to maintain a sufficient blood supply due to an unprecedented number of blood drive cancellations during this coronavirus outbreak. Healthy individuals are needed now to donate to help patients including victims of car accidents and other emergencies, or patients suffering from cancer requiring lifesaving blood.Learn more about donation safety protocols > Find a blood drive near you >

Too often children attend school without new backpacks and needed school supplies because of the simple fact their Parents cannot afford them. CSS is looking for donations of backpacks and school supplies, to provide these much needed items for children in our service region.

CSS is the leading provider of homelessness services in Southeastern, MA. We house hundreds of children in Supported and Transitional Housing, and shelters every night. A donation of school supplies goes a long way for these children succeed in school and normalize their lives. In addition many teachers pay for their students schools supplies out of their own pocket. Donations will help relieve some of these teachers from that burden.

YOU CAN HELP

If you would like to donate school supplies, very simply you can drop them off at our New Bedford Office. If that is not possible, or you have a large donation of supplies please give the New Bedford Office a call and we can see what can arranged.

Every little bit helps a child need.
