Ways to help | Group VolunteersVolunteering can be a great way to build teamwork, foster relationships, and give back to your community! Throughout the year, we partner with corporate groups, schools, and nonprofits to accomplish projects that make an impact on our Club and Waltham youth. Projects include Club beautification, light-duty gardening and mulching, painting, cleaning and organizing, and special events for kids.Professional VolunteerDo you have a skill that could help our operations? We are always looking for marketing, graphic design, event planning, construction work, and HR services.Program VolunteersWe are looking for volunteers who can assist with the daily activities in all of our program areas: Aquatics, Athletics, Arts, Education, Technology, Music, Teen and Social Recreation. These activities range from helping members with homework to playing games in the gym. Interested in coaching a volleyball team, teaching a yoga class, chess or a synchronized swimming class? We are always looking for new, innovative ways to enhance our programming. |

About us | Since our founding, the Waltham Boys & Girls Club has been recognized as a community leader in providing positive programs for youth, with a special emphasis on serving disadvantaged youth. We offer daily program opportunities in sports, social recreation, health and life skills, aquatics, performing arts, cultural diversity, drug and alcohol prevention, character and leadership development, educational programs and ongoing guidance. We presently serve 1,144 youth members and serve an additional 2,500 youth annually. |
