Leaders help people with chronic medical conditions to manage their medical problems and disabilities by leading the workshops that support, educate, and nurture a greater control over their lives.
Volunteers connect with older adults to provide social support through face-to-face visits, phone calls, or virtual connections through email.
In the Homework Club, volunteer mentors are matched with METCO scholars between grades 3-5 to help them stay on track with their math and ELA learning. With one or two virtual meetings a week throughout the school year, students will strengthen organizational skills and get the work done.
